A-listers spent their Sunday night toasting to each other's performances at the Actor Awards.

Formerly known as the Screen Actors Guild Awards, the Actor Awards took place in Los Angeles on Sunday at the Shrine Auditorium, celebrating the best acting in television and film for the year.

The name wasn't the only change for the awards show. This year's event also featured a red-carpet theme, "Reimagining Hollywood Glamour From the '20s and '30s," encouraging actors to put their own spin on styles that were big in early Hollywood.

Stars like Chase Infiniti and Kate Hudson nailed the theme, but others struggled with it. Take a look at some of the looks that missed the mark at the 2026 Actor Awards.

Netflix CEO Ted Sarandos' high-low look didn't quite work.

Sarandos walked the red carpet in a velvet blue tuxedo jacket, paired with a white shirt and black bow tie.

Rather than wearing pants that matched the jacket, he wore bootcut blue jeans. Black dress shoes completed the look.

Although a high-low look can be fun, Sarandos' pants and jacket didn't look right together. A different cut of jeans may have worked better, or his look may have felt more cohesive if he had worn all blue accessories.

Fran Drescher's accessories made her outfit look like a costume.

Styled by Brenda Cooper, the former SAG-AFTRA president and "Marty Supreme" star leaned into old Hollywood glamour in a slinky, black gown.

The dress was covered in sparkles, had one thin strap, and a slit cut up the back of the skirt to reveal her black pumps.

While the gown was beautiful, Drescher's look took on a costume feel because of her over-the-top accessories, which included a fuzzy pink shrug reminiscent of a boa and a black top hat from The Way We Wore.

If Drescher had ditched the hat, the outfit may have leaned more red carpet.

Toned-down accessories could have made all the difference in Timothy Simons' outfit, too.

The "Nobody Wants This" star arrived in an outfit designed by John Varvatos.

It consisted of a white blouse, a black trench that hit Simons mid-thigh, black trousers, an Omega watch, and Christian Louboutin shoes. His Western tie could have been the standout accessory of the look, adding some '20s flair.

However, his other accessories stole focus, including his black belt with a silver buckle, the silver detailing on his shoes, and his Oliver Peoples sunglasses.

Patricia Arquette's red outfit had too many layers.

Rick Owens designed the all-red look that Arquette, who was nominated for best drama cast performance alongside her "Severance" costars, wore to the Actor Awards.

It featured a shift dress that hit her mid-thigh, a floor-length skirt underneath with a slit in the center, and a wrap jacket with extra-long sleeves and a tie on her waist. She paired the outfit with black accessories, including over-the-knee boots, a necklace, and a bag.

Between the layers of clothing and dark accessories, the outfit just had too much going on. If Arquette had left one of the skirts behind or leaned further into the monochromatic look with red accessories, the pieces may have worked better together.

Patrick Ball's skirt ensemble was fun, but it needed some tweaks.

Ball, who won an Actor Award for best drama cast for "The Pitt" on Sunday, wore a Thom Browne outfit.

The top half included a white shirt, a black suit jacket, and a black tie. Instead of pants, he wore a black pleated skirt that reached his knees. His dress socks were exposed, one of which had Thom Browne's signature stripe detailing, and he wore black dress shoes.

The outfit was a fun concept, but the tailoring didn't quite suit Ball. His jacket sleeves didn't look long enough, and the skirt's length made him look shorter than he is. A cropped jacket may have worked better with the statement skirt.

Michelle Randolph's dress didn't look tailored to fit her.

The "Landman" star chose a Tiffany blue Balenciaga gown for the Actor Awards.

Made of shiny satin, the gown featured a curved neckline and a ball-gown skirt that fell into a high-low hemline, showing off her coordinating duchess pumps, also designed by Balenciaga. She paired the gown with Effy Jewelry.

The dress was pretty, but the waistline didn't look tailored to fit Randolph's figure. Instead, it floated slightly away from her body, which was an odd pairing with the bottom of the dress.

Sarah Pidgeon's ensemble didn't suit the theme.

Pidgeon, who stars in "Love Story" as Carolyn Bessette Kennedy, also wore Balenciaga on the red carpet.

She wore the brand's spring 2026 double maxi balloon dress in pink. It had a strapless neckline, puffing around her torso before cinching at her thighs. It then puffed again, ballooning into a skirt that fell to her ankles, showing off her cream duchess pumps. She wore her hair in a beachy updo and added simple diamond jewelry.

The avant-garde look was bold for any red carpet, but it was an odd choice at the Actor Awards, as it seemed to completely ignore the theme. Pidgeon could have worn a silhouette that evoked the '20s and '30s, or incorporated retro accessories.
