Over the past decade, American Express has evolved from a well-known credit card company into an industry-leading AI firm, bringing technological advances to the finance industry.
The 64,000-person company is also leading the way when it comes to reimagining the workplace. Unlike some traditional financial firms, AmEx is embracing hybrid and remote work with 40% of the company's US employees opting to work outside of the office, Bloomberg reported.
Job seekers interested in joining the remote-friendly company are in luck: AmEx is hiring 1,500 technology workers before the end of 2022, Ravi Radhakrishnan, the chief information officer, told Bloomberg. This is on top of the 3,600 engineers, coders, developers, and more that the company hired earlier this year. What's more, many positions will come with six-figure salaries.
