Billie Eilish recently illuminated her fear of climate change in the video for "All The Good Girls Go To Hell", underlining the encroaching crisis in a new video with "Zombieland" star Woody Harrelson. The minute-and-a-quarter video, dubbed "Our House Is On Fire," touches on the recent climate strikes, Greta Thunberg and other relevant topics.
"Extreme weather is wrecking millions of lives," Eilish begins. "We are in a climate emergency," underscores Harrelson. "History shows us that when enough people rise up and demand change, those in power have no choice but to act."
Both continue outlining the dangers facing the Earth (animal species facing extinction, oceans rising) as the footage shifts to the recent climate strikes.
"We must take back power," Harrelson continues, as Eilish outlines lifestyle changes that could aid in minimizing humanity's effect upon the planet, like lowering plastic dependency and minimizing meat consumption, before citing forces for positive change like Fridays For Future.
The same day the video was uploaded to YouTube — September 28 — Eilish and Harrelson met on the set of "Saturday Night Live" for the long-running sketch show's seasonal return. Harrelson has hosted the comedy series in the past, but this episode marked Eilish's first "SNL" appearance, where she performed "Bad Guy" and "I Love You."
