Frank Ocean's headlining performance at Coachella on Sunday came to an abrupt end.
The elusive star arrived on the main stage nearly an hour after his set was scheduled to begin. At 12:20 a.m., after about an hour and 20 minutes of music, Ocean announced that Coachella's curfew had gone into effect.
"Guys, I'm being told it's curfew, so that's the end of the show," he said before exiting the stage.

Ocean was originally slated to headline Coachella in 2020, but the music festival was canceled that year due to the pandemic. His performance on Sunday marked his first live show in six years, since the 2017 Flow Festival in Finland.
The "Blonde" singer said he decided to play Coachella to honor his younger brother, Ryan Moore, who died suddenly in 2020.
"I want to talk about why I'm here because it's not because of a new album," Ocean told the crowd, which included Insider's music team.
"You know, these last couple years, my life changed so much," he continued after hushing the crowd. "My brother and I, we came to this festival a lot. I feel like I was dragged out here half the time because I hated the dust out here, I always left with a respiratory infection, or what have you. So I would avoid coming, but I would always end up here."
"I know he would've been so excited to be here with all of us," he concluded. "I want to say thank you for the support and the ears and the love over all this time."

During his eclectic set, Ocean performed remixes of songs like "Solo" and "Chanel," as well as acoustic renditions of "Pink + White" and "Self Control."
His final song was a cover of Aaliyah's "At Your Best (You Are Love)," which was included on Ocean's 2016 visual album "Endless."
Ocean was the final performer of the weekend. The lineup also features Bad Bunny, BLACKPINK, and Calvin Harris.
