The ESPN streaming service is hiking prices across all stand-alone tiers and select bundles. This is the first time that the platform has raised prices on ESPN Unlimited since the service launched one year ago.
ESPN's pricing support article notes "as of September 17, 2026" for the subscription price increases, but the new rates are already listed on the ESPN sign-up page for new customers and displayed under add-ons and bundles when I logged into my MyDisney account via Hulu, and other members of our team have confirmed likewise.
The price hike affects both the monthly and annual versions of ESPN Select and ESPN Unlimited, as well as the ESPN Unlimited and NFL Plus bundle and the Disney Plus, Hulu, and ESPN Select bundles. The Disney Plus bundles with ESPN Unlimited haven't received a price hike, nor has the Fox One and ESPN Unlimited bundle.
ESPN Select, previously $12.99 a month or $129.99 a year, now costs $13.99 a month or $139.99 a year. ESPN Unlimited, previously $29.99 a month or $299.99 a year, now costs $31.99 a month or $319.99 a year. The Disney Plus, Hulu, and ESPN Select bundle goes from $19.99 a month to $21.99 a month, and the ESPN Unlimited and NFL Plus Premium bundle increases from $39.99 a month to $41.99 a month.
The streaming service, an enhanced version of the ESPN app which overhauled ESPN Plus, first launched in August 2025. Before the launch, there was no way for cord-cutters to live stream all ESPN-owned broadcast coverage without signing up for a live TV streaming service, which often gets quite pricey because subscribers are paying for a package of channels. ESPN Select offers specific programming, including some streaming exclusives, but fans need ESPN Unlimited to access full network live streams (along with everything that ESPN Select has to offer).
The price hike comes in time for the kickoff of the fall sports season, when select NFL and college football games will live stream on ESPN Unlimited. ESPN Unlimited is also necessary to live stream every match at the US Open, and ESPN Select is a staple of the La Liga and NHL seasons.
ESPN is just the latest streaming service to raise prices, following last week's Peacock price hike. Other Disney-owned streaming services, like Disney Plus and Hulu, haven't faced price hikes yet this year. In the past, Disney Plus has increased prices for select plans every year in October, dating back to 2023, although there's been no price announcement so far in 2026.
