His latest venture, Pluribus, leaves behind the meth and cartel-focused world of Walter White and Jimmy McGill/Saul Goodman for the most part, although it's once again set in Albuquerque, New Mexico, and has a few nods to its predecessors.
The most notable connection between Gilligan's shows is Rhea Seehorn, who played Kim Wexler — Jimmy's partner in crime and in life — on Better Call Saul. When do new episodes of Pluribus drop?
New episodes of Pluribus drop globally on Fridays, and the first season will run for nine episodes. The series premiered with two episodes, and one new episode will drop each week through December 26, 2025. If you're in the US, we've noticed that the episodes typically turn up on Thursdays at 9 p.m. ET / 6 p.m. PT (which is Friday in some other parts of the world). The one exception to the release schedule so far was for Episode 5 (titled "Got Milk"), which was scheduled to drop around Thanksgiving. Instead, the new episode became available early on Wednesday, November 26 (Tuesday night in the US).

After gushing about Seehorn, he added: "At this point, maybe four seasons, I'm guessing, but who the hell knows?"

The trailer (set to The Righteous Brothers' "You'll Never Walk Alone") finds Carol as she tries to figure out what's going on with the rest of the peppy, happy world. In the video, she's seen talking over the phone to a man standing at the White House podium. "Rest assured, Carol," he says. "We will figure out what makes you different."
