The original series aired from 2006 to 2013 and followed Dexter Morgan (Michael C. Hall), a Miami-based forensic blood spatter analyst who secretly moonlights as a serial killer. The catch? He only murders the guilty, abiding by a code taught to him by his adoptive father, Harry. Dexter: Original Sin takes viewers back to the '90s as Dexter (this time played by Patrick Gibson) starts a forensics internship and begins to hone his code under the guidance of Harry (Christian Slater). Molly Brown, Christina Milian, James Martinez, Alex Shimizu, Reno Wilson, Sarah Michelle Gellar, and Patrick Dempsey help round out the cast of regulars and special guest stars.

Where to watch Dexter: Original Sin in the US
Dexter: Original Sin airs on Showtime on Sundays at 10 p.m. ET. The show's streaming home is Paramount Plus, which also dropped the premiere episode early on December 13. Fans can stream the series by subscribing to the Paramount Plus with Showtime tier, which costs $13 per month and includes ad-free on-demand streaming.
