Kylie Jenner reportedly met up with her ex-boyfriend Tyga, and fans immediately started joking about the reunion on social media — prompting the reality star to issue a response.
After paparazzi photos, obtained by the Daily Mail, showed the cosmetics mogul arriving at Tyga's recording studio at 2 a.m. on Tuesday, E! News reported that she spent some time with him in the middle of the night.
Jenner and her friends Anastasia "Stassie" Karanikolaou and Kelsey Calemine were at celebrity hot spot Delilah when the "Girls Have Fun" rapper invited them to meet up, according to the report.
"Kylie wanted to have a girls' night out last night and Stassie thought it would be best to get her out of the house and her mind off the news," a source told the outlet.
The supposed hangout came only a few hours after multiple reports said Jenner and boyfriend Travis Scott had decided to take a break from their relationship.
E!'s source added that Tyga "was with a few of their mutual friends at Sunset Marquis and invited Kylie and her girlfriends to come hangout, since they were already out."
The reunion "wasn't an intentional jab at Travis, but she did hangout with Tyga for a bit. Nothing romantic is going on," the source explained.
Despite the report saying there's nothing "romantic" happening between the exes — who dated from 2014 to 2017 — fans were quick to make fun of Jenner and Tyga for hanging out almost immediately after the news of her split broke.

After Twitter was flooded with memes about the meetup, Jenner took to her own account to call out fans for making the situation seem like a bigger deal than it was.
"The internet makes everything 100 times more dramatic than what it really is. There was no '2am date with Tyga.' You see me drop two of my friends off at a studio that he happened to be at," she tweeted.

"Travis and I are on great terms and our main focus right now is Stormi ‼️ our friendship and our daughter is priority," she added in a second tweet, referring to her 1-year-old daughter Stormi Webster, whom she shares with Scott.

The "Keeping Up With The Kardashian" star's tweets weren't enough to curb fans' reactions. Her followers were disappointed that she called her relationship with Scott a "friendship."

Jenner and Scott dated for two years before reports said they were "taking some time" away from their relationship. A source told People that the pair "still have some trust issues but their problems have stemmed more from the stress of their lifestyles."
Insider reached out to representatives for Jenner and Tyga, but did not receive an immediate response.
