TheLadders CEO: 'It Takes About 6 Seconds To Decide If The Person Behind A Resume Is A Fit'

It's a highly competitive job market and companies are more aggressive in hiring, so it's essential to get everything right during the job hunt.

Alex Douzet, CEO of TheLadders, tells us how long your resume should be, whether you should include an "objective" and what recruiters are looking for in your resume. (At the time of the interview, Douzet was COO of TheLadders).

He also tells us how the job search today is different than a few years ago.

"The world has changed drastically as you know and mobile is becoming very permanent and it's really changing the way every category is interacting with content. And the job listing is not an exception to that rule," Douzet says. "Today, the job search starts on your mobile phone."
