The holiday shopping season is upon us.
For those of you planning to hit the stores over the holidays, we have compiled a complete list of opening times on Thanksgiving and Black Friday.
A growing number of retailers including Home Depot and Costco are protesting the so-called Black Friday "creep," a trend in which stores have been opening earlier and earlier every year on Thanksgiving Day.
Plenty of retailers, such as Target and Macy's, are still planning to hold doorbuster sales on Thanksgiving, however.
Here's the list of retailers' holiday hours that have been announced so far. We will add to this list as more stores announce their hours.
- Belk: Open 4 p.m. on Thanksgiving to 1 a.m. on Black Friday. Reopens 6 a.m. on Black Friday.
- Best Buy: Open 5 p.m. on Thanksgiving to 1 a.m. on Black Friday. Reopens 8 a.m. on Black Friday.
- Big Lots: Open 7 a.m. to midnight on Thanksgiving. Reopens 6 a.m. on Black Friday.
- BJ's Wholesale Club: Closed on Thanksgiving. Opens 7 a.m. on Black Friday.
- Costco: Closed on Thanksgiving. Opens 9 a.m. on Black Friday.
- Dick's Sporting Goods: Open 6 p.m. on Thanksgiving to 2 a.m. on Black Friday. Reopens 5 a.m. to 10 p.m. on Black Friday.
- Dollar General: Open 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. on Thanksgiving. Will resume normal operating hours on Black Friday.
- GameStop: Open 3 p.m. to 10 p.m. on Thanksgiving. Reopens 7 a.m. on Black Friday.
- Home Depot: Closed on Thanksgiving. Opens 6 a.m. on Black Friday.
- JCPenney: Open 2 p.m. on Thanksgiving. Will remain open until 10 p.m. on Black Friday.
- Kmart: Open 6 a.m. to midnight on Thanksgiving. Reopens at 6 a.m. on Black Friday.
- Kohl's: Opens 5 p.m. on Thanksgiving. Will remain open until 12 a.m. on Saturday, November 24.
- Lowe's: Closed on Thanksgiving. Open 6 a.m. to 10 p.m. on Black Friday.
- Macy's: Open 5 p.m. on Thanksgiving to 2 a.m. on Black Friday. Will reopen 6 a.m. to 10 p.m. on Black Friday.
- Marshalls: Closed on Thanksgiving. Open 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. on Thanksgiving.
- Michaels: Open 6 p.m. to midnight on Thanksgiving. Reopens 7 a.m. on Black Friday.
- Nordstrom: Closed on Thanksgiving. Normal operating hours on Black Friday.
- Office Depot/OfficeMax: Open 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Black Friday.
- Old Navy: Opens 3 p.m. on Thanksgiving and will remain open until 10 p.m. on Black Friday.
- PetSmart: Closed on Thanksgiving. Opens 7 a.m. on Black Friday.
- Sam's Club: Closed on Thanksgiving. Opens 7 a.m. on Black Friday.
- Sears: Open 6 p.m. to midnight on Thanksgiving. Reopens at 5 a.m. on Black Friday.
- Staples: Open 7 a.m. on Black Friday.
- Target: Open 5 p.m. on Thanksgiving to 1 a.m. on Black Friday. Will reopen at 7 a.m. on Black Friday.
- T.J. Maxx: Closed on Thanksgiving. Open 9:30 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. on Black Friday.
- Victoria's Secret: Opens 6 p.m. on Thanksgiving. Reopens 6 a.m. to 10 p.m. on Black Friday.
- Walmart: Regular operating hours with Black Friday sales kicking off at 6 p.m. on Thanksgiving.
